The older women's necklaces include a large Omba(conus shell). The women are likely to be two of Tchiliwandele's three wives. He is wearing a cap which is now in the Powell-Cotton Museum collection although the Omba (conus shells) attached to it are not.. He described the hat and the Omba as symbols of his position Soba and was unwilling to sell them.
