Physical Description: Necklet, made from three strings of white glass beads, with a few coloured ones at ends and in middle, with a rectangular panel of pink, white, red, and black beadwork, with upper and lower margins of blue. Panel is divided vertically into one pink and one white section.

Donated to Brighton Museum by Wlliam S Proctor in 1935. A note in the accession register reads:'Asked for further information, Mr Proctor replied, 9th Sept 1935: "A brother of mine, who has lived in South Africa for some years, gave me the beadwork when I was out there in 1912. He told me it had come from Bechuanaland, and that it had come into his possession, as far as I can recollect, about 1910."'
