Scobie Lekhutile is Curator of the Khama Memorial Museum, which is a partner in the MAC project. Lekhutile has worked at Khama III Memorial Museum since its founding years, and has played key roles in building up its permanent displays, collections, archives and educational activities since the 1980s. He studied museums pedagogy in Denmark and has a certificate in museology from the University of Botswana. His experience in the museum sector extends within the region particularly Zambia and Zimbabwe, as well as internationally, through the Sweden and Africa Museums Programme (SWAFMP), and the Africa, Latin America, Asia and Sweden museum exchange (ALAS). He has been an active participant in the Botswana Museums Association. He has historical and research expertise on Ngwato and broader Botswana history and heritage, as well as on BaSarwa history, culture and languages
