Description

Doll made from a forked wooden stick and a beeswax torso and head. Stylistic arms. No hair. Ostrich eggshell discs for eyes. Blue trade beads around neck. Around hips are wound lengths of blue and pink trade beads. White buttons, representing omba shells. Checked fabric skirts; leather waist belt. Neat bound fibre anklets. Covered in lukula [red powder].[FHM18/06/2019]
