Description

A young woman sits on the ground holding her arm on her knee. An older man tightens the final coil of a large metal bracelet so that it fits snugly on her wrist. This photograph is part of a series of nine which shows the process for making a bracelet which was then acquired by Diana and Antoinette Powell Cotton and is now in the museum's collection. Square black and white photograph taken on a Rolliflex camera by Diana Powell-Cotton while staying with Soba Tchiliwandele in present day Huila Province.
