A manuscript letter written by Gordon, giving details of his journey from Suakin to Khartoum via Berber in 1874. Single sheet includes a map (scale 1:425000) showing how he travelled from Suakin to Berber and then along the River Nile (highlighted in blue) to Khartoum.
