Description

Doll [also known as okana] with a wax body and head; stylistic arms; legs made from forked wooden stick. The eyes are made from onjeva discs, whereas the nose and mouth are made from beads. The doll wears a heavy bead necklace, with button decoration, a deep beaded hip belt, cloth front apron and a skin back apron with tails. According to previous records, the doll was collected with a personal name attached to it: Desonda.[FHM25/09/2019]
