The first project workshop was held at Brighton Museum on the 13th of February 2019. Almost everyone working on the project was able to attend along with our advisory group. This was a very exciting moment for us and was no small feat, people travelled from Namibia, Botswana, Sudan and all across the UK to attend our first project workshop. We began by discussing the project together and then broke into three groups to discuss the three museum collections of African objects that are now in Kent and Sussex.
