Description
Club carved from a dark red wood and blackened. The head is bulb shaped and carved with diagonal , horizontal and vertical lines, and decorated with brass studs. Below the linear decoration there are three further bands of brass studs and a metal or leather band. At the top of the head there are five protrusions which are flat at the top. The shaft of the club is cracked and the bottom end appears to have been broken or sawn off.
