Description

Wooden stick which has been dipped in blood and charcoal, and decorated at one end with four rings of animal skin from the eyelids of animals killed. The rings of skin have light and dark brown fur suggesting they may come from different animals. The lowest ring has distinct long black hair (eyelashes). Used as a hunter's charm, it was placed in the fire before dawn and the scorched end used to mark the hunter's forehead in order to bring luck and improve aim for the hunter.
