Description

Doll [also known as okana - baby] made from 3 peeled palm fruits [also known as endunga - palm fruit] threaded on a stick. The top one is waxed [head] covered with cloth. Cloth aprons, fibre string belt. Beads round neck and waist. According to previous records, the doll is called Maufiko - a personal name possibly given by the child who owned it. [FHM25/09/2019]
