Description

Doll baby carrier [also known as odikwa] made from calf skin pierced together. Top turned over - no proper side thongs, fibre string in its place. Embe pendant decoration attached to separate strip skin. All very rough. According to previous cataloguing information this would have been used by a girl for carrying a doll and is linked to object numbered: A36/1330 [o.n.1674].[FHM25/09/2019]
