Medicine belt made from goat skin which has been folded over and sewn along the length. On one end, the belt is decorated with cowries and small white beads at the centre. On the opposite, the ends of the belt are left unsewn and fixed together with a narrow thong, where a small envelope pouch is attached.According to previous cataloguing information, this was owned by a Sivangolulia ondudu man of the Quandonga people and was lent to a patient for one or two days when sick, or given a remedy sewn onto/from inside the belt to consume.
